Arkansas has had a fair share of struggles throughout the SEC.  But today; however, it went over the limit.  The non-ranked Razorbacks of Arkansas stepped into the number 1 ranked Gators swamp and took control of the game almost immediately.  With six sacks for the game, Arkansas's defensive line looked outstanding for the first time this season!  They wore down the savior of Florida's offensive Tim Tebow play after play, and went into half time leading 10-3.

The game continued on in the third and into the fourth quarter when things got a little hairy.  Two key penalties cost Arkansas the lead on a scoring drive for the Gators.  Both calls where either questionable or out-right ridiculous calls against the Hogs defense.

One call was a PI call against an Arkansas defensive back.  When you go back and look at the play, there is no question that he was looking at the ball and in perfect position, the ball was just under thrown.

The other, and most outrageous call of the game, was against Arkansas's Malcom Shepard.  As a Florida lineman was coming up to block him, Shepard steps into him and delivers a hit.  There is nothing wrong about that.  He lineman was clearly coming up to block him and Shepard has to get around him.  There should have been no foul on the play!

SEC refs have troubled Arkansas for quite a while.  Last year during the Ole Miss vs Arkansas game in Fayetteville, a horrible OPI was called on Arkansas with less than two minutes left on the clock.  It was a no-brainer clean play by both reciever and defensive back, and if the foul had not been called, Arkansas would have been near their 25 yard line with a 1st down and the drive would have resulted in a most likely score for the Razorbacks by either a touchdown or field goal.

I know that the majority of Razorback fans agree with me that SEC refs are horrible and Arkansas almost always gets screwed by them.  The SEC needs to lay down the law and make sure that this does not happen any more to the Hogs, or any other SEC team for that matter.  

You need to let the kids play football.  You need to let them leave everything out on the field and not lose because the ref didn't have his head in the game, but because the kid just didn't make the play.  

But something seriously needs to be done about this issue!
